Am I In blackpool? oh wait its international drive.....

So whoever created the whole whoharr about international drive should be shot! i have never been so excited i thought it was going to be some extravagant long road with amazing shops and restaurants, oh NOO it was like the Blackpool strip consisting of things like "99c store" and right near the end there was this like carnival which was falling apart ahah!!

Well we still made the best of it and stayed in orlando point (the posh side of international drive) and went to HOOTERS :) where i purchased my hooter t shirt whoopa, so as always here are some pics.

sweet tomatoes

if you dont know american food is SO sugary :( and a few of us english guys where dying for some salad and healthy food (crazy i know) and we had heard of a place called sweet tomatoes. Success we had found healthy food all you can eat 10 dollars (with disney discount) and to an extent it lived up to its reputation :) and to mark this healthy food occasion of course we took some photos :)

After our stomachs where full and not so full of sugar (obviously ignoring the desserts we had haha) we randomly decided to play mini golf haha! at firt it was really fun, and to be fair i was the worst.. but then it went ONNNN and ONNNN and ONNNN boriinngggg... but heres some pics anyway :) ..

POOL PARTYYYYYY!!

free pizza, lemonade, prizes, the florida sun and a pool. all these things make me apparently go crazy and steal boys hats dance like a loser, all WITHOUT alcohol. what a mess....

Water parks

Only throughout june do we get free access to the water parks so we had to go to them asap! the two disney water parks are Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.

We went to blizzard beach first which has the big slides (to be honest i'm quiet scared of water slides haha) it was soo fun going on all the rapids together and the really fast slides which i surprisingly went on! 

Then on to "fast food" more like SLOW food, it took forever to get something to eat but it was worth it, i got this amazing chicken caesar salad YUM it was fit! so fit that i had to mention it on my blog haha! 

we also saw our friend Kim as she's a lifeguard on the lazy river, fun times! 

Then on to Typhoon Lagoon which has this MASSIVE 8 foot wave, it was hilarious! And i got to swim with sharks how cool is that!? but i do have to say the toilets where not up to Disney standards and i was going to complain. but going home on the bus seemed more tempting...

so i mean theres not much to say about that other than there was water and slides ahah.. so here are some photos....

Wishes magic kingdom

if you didn't already know, i get into the parks for FREE :D so off to magic kingdom we went, and wishes was one of the most amazing shows i've ever seen (i even cried a little) i wouldn't want to spoil it for anyone but on the castle it actually projects images of kids who have came to disney, its just so amazing to think that i make peoples dreams come true and add magic to peoples lives, i love the escapism here from the real world, its unexplainable :) here are some pictures i took, which are quiet impressive i think ahah :D

Animal Kingdom- its tough to be a bug...

So for many of you who actually know me, i'm not too fond of animals to say the least... wen i found out my location i was a bit gutted to be honest but after some time, i have grown to LOVE it. its the best when you come into work and theres beautiful greenery and animals chirping and moving about, its so relaxing (until the guests come in and cause a commotion ahah)

SO first things first i get my uniform ... DUN DUN DUN its the worst thing you have ever seen, queue the laughter..... 

yes its hideous, so lets swiftly move on to my trainer who helped me pass my 1 week long training, his name is nestor and he's from the Philippines and he's done about everything their is in the world, he was even an American spy (true story) so i thought id upload a picture because he's actually hilarious, i love him!!

doesnt he just look like a legend! haha 

so working in its tough to be a bug i am really lucky as not many jobs have a rotation and mine does so about every hour/2hours i will be on a different roles. here are the roles with descriptions:

Theatre 1: welcoming the guests into the theatre, doing your speil, controlling the whole show on an electric panel.

Theatre 2: making sure guest are safe and doors are clear and observing the show

Lobby top: assisting guest in wheelchairs

Lobby loader: loading the lobby of guest making sure everyone fits in and spieling the safety spiel.

Glasses: getting all the dirty glasses and putting them in a cart to get cleaned in Epcot (yes they get cleaned every time a person has used a pair!

Greeter: greeting the guests before the queue

Strollers: parking the strollers, you will always get the joke "do you not take the child too" -its not funny anymore haha!

so apparently i'm a master at all those roles as i passed and even got a certificate yay! now being an official cast member of disney.. let the hard work begin!

so where do i start.... it all started with a mouse

me and my house mate sam who i LOVE :D

Traditions is probably the first place to start..YES i went to the Disney university!! We learnt all about the history of Disney. Did you know that mickey mouses first name was mortimer!?? The trainers where super enthusiastic as i've started too realise a lot of americans are like! Also did you know (please don't read on if your in love with the whole Disney magic everything is real) there is a secret tunnel underneath the whole of Magic Kingdom where all the cast members (staff ect) walk to their location and their are random secret doors to come on all over magic kingdom, how amazing is that! 

so that kinda sums up traditions class except their where 2 annoying girls all the way through answering all the rhetorical questions which made me and sam laugh to be fair but it was HIGHLY ANNOYING aha :)
